In an exciting development for football fans across Scotland, the BBC has announced a new agreement with the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) that will significantly increase the number of live televised matches from the Scottish Championship.
Under this new deal, the number of live games broadcasted will rise from 20 to a potential maximum of 30 per season.
This enhancement comes as part of BBC Scotland's ongoing commitment to bringing more football action to viewers.
Dunfermline Athletic vs Falkirk is the latest game to be shown on the BBC Scotland channel, taking place at 7.45pm on Friday, December 27.

In addition to the increased live coverage, the broadcaster will also introduce a weekly highlights programme.
This show, set to launch in January, will feature key moments and goals from the Championship, as well as from Leagues 1 and 2.
Fans can catch the highlights every Monday on the BBC Sport Scotland website and app, ensuring they stay updated on all the weekend’s thrilling action.
The new agreement builds on the existing multi-platform deal between BBC Scotland and the SPFL, which was extended last year and runs until the end of the 2028/29 season.
This long-term commitment from the broadcaster not only boosts the visibility of Scottish football but also enriches its sports portfolio for audiences eager for more local content.
