The 2025-26 Scottish Premiership season will begin on the weekend of August 1-3.
The Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) have released details highlighting the key dates for upcoming campaign, including information on whether they will continue to operate without a winter break.
The Premiership will wrap up its campaign on May 16-17, while teams in the Championship, League 1, and League 2 will conclude their regular fixtures on the first weekend of May, paving the way for the play-off matches.
As the second season of the expanded UEFA club competitions approaches, the league phase of both the Champions League and Europa League is expected to continue until the end of January, putting added pressure on the domestic schedule.
Top-flight manager's including Celtic's Brendan Rodgers have been vocal on the current gruelling schedule and how a winter break would help.
However, similar to the 2024/25 season, the 2025/26 Premiership will not feature a designated stoppage.

In addition, the group stage of the Premier Sports Cup is set to commence on July 12-13, with the Hampden Park final scheduled for December 14.
To ensure the tournament concludes before Christmas, the quarter-finals will be held over a weekend, mirroring the current season's arrangements due to the absence of midweek slots.
Calum Beattie, chief operating officer at the SPFL, said: “We are only just into the second half of the season across the four divisions and there is so much to look forward to in the remaining months of season 2024/25.
“However, we are well aware that clubs and supporters need to plan ahead. We are therefore pleased to be able to confirm start and end dates for season 2025/26, as well as the full schedule for the Premier Sports Cup.
“We will again have five clubs competing in UEFA club competitions in season 2025/26 and, of course, we are all hoping that next season ends with Scotland’s participation at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.”
