Spencer Pratt vows to become 'TV superstar' again to make money for his kids

Spencer Pratt is going to continue his quest for fame as he wants to provide for his family, and it's too late "to be a dentist", the reality star veteran has said, declaring "I'm going to be a TV superstar again".

The controversial Hills villain hit the headlines this week when he said actress Lisa Kudrow, known for playing Phoebe in Friends, was 'one of the worst humans he's ever met'.

In a TikTok video the I'm a Celeb star claimed at a party in 2009 the Friends actress told Spencer's future wife Heidi, that Spencer was going to murder her, and he has the eyes of a serial killer.

Spencer first found fame on MTV's reality show The Hills, which aired between 2006 and 2010, and he and wife Heidi have been on numerous reality shows since and front covers of US magazines, sharing details about their personal lives.

And Spencer has news for all the Speidi haters out there, he's not going anywhere.

In a candid interview on the Call her Daddy podcast, Spencer explained how went to school with the children of the rich and famous in LA, and he knew from the age of 16 that he wanted their lifestyle.

He described visiting Meryl Streep on the set of Death Becomes Her, with his best friend at the time and Meryl's daughter, Mamie Gummer.

The Celebrity Big Brother contestant recalled his first experience with reality TV, when he decided to film his friend and future Hills co-star, Brody Jenner and his glamorous family, which turned into the short-lived programme, Princes of Malibu.

In the podcast, released in June, he told Alexandra Cooper that he was still hungry for fame as he's got to provide for his family.

Spencer and Heidi have son Gunner, four, and are expecting a second baby, after a fertility battle which even saw Heidi eat raw meat in the hope it would improve her chances of conceiving.

Alexandra asked Spencer whether fatherhood had changed him, to which he replied: "It made me thirsty again, because I'm like let's get success, people are like 'why are you still trying to be famous', like that's where I am at.

"I am not going to go be a banker now, I can't be a lawyer even though Kim's [Kardashian] being a lawyer.

"I don't have that time for the baby bar. So I'm going to be a TV super star again.

"I'm going to get a show, I'm going to produce. That's why I am now back in the game. That's the only reason why, like 'why do you want this again', because now it's time."

Spencer went on: "I want to give my sons and future family members... I want to build. I grew up with an amazing life and it's too late to be a dentist."

Spencer also claimed that he and Heidi once pretended they were hoarders for a magazine cover, filling their house to the brim, and were paid thousands for the story.
