The end of the 2022/23 season is fast approaching as we have now entered the final month of the campaign. A key period for Tottenham as they chase a Europa League spot after falling away from Champions League contention, it is also going to be a pivotal few weeks for the club's players who are currently playing their football elsewhere.
The Lilywhites have 11 players playing across the globe at present and there is so much at stake going into the final weeks of the campaign. League titles, European spots, play-off positions, silverware and avoiding relegation are very much all on the table for many in what remains of the season.
So how exactly are Tottenham's 11 loanees currently getting on? football.london takes a look below.

Djed Spence and Joe Rodon (Rennes)
Rennes were in action on Sunday but there was no place at all for Djed Spence in the matchday squad as they beat Angers 4-2. A regular in the team to begin with following his January loan move from Tottenham, the 22-year-old's game time has reduced dramatically over the past month following Hamari Traore's return from injury.
Last starting a game for Rennes in their brilliant 2-0 win over PSG before March's international break, Spence was left out of the squad altogether at the weekend as fellow right-back Lorenz Assignon returned to the squad for the first time since January following a serious injury. It now means Spence has five games remaining to try and force his way back into Bruno Genesio's thinking before his loan spell in France ends and he returns to Tottenham.
While Spence had to watch on from the stands at the weekend, Joe Rodon was an unused substitute for the match against Angers. Last playing for Rennes in their 3-1 defeat at Toulouse in February, the Welshman has had to bide his time on the bench since then and, after missing out on the squad completely for two games in early April, he has been back in the manager's thinking for their past two fixtures.
Bryan Gil (Sevilla)
Sevilla have been in action twice over the past few days after taking on Athletic Bilbao and Girona. Securing a 1-0 win in Bilbao last Thursday, Bryan Gil got 45 minutes under his belt after replacing former Tottenham man Erik Lamela at half-time.
Clearly doing enough in his appearance to be handed a start in Monday's home match against Girona, Gil played 82 minutes but he couldn't help his side to victory as they fell to a 2-0 defeat. Unlucky not to restore parity in the first half after seeing his shot from close range saved well by ex-Tottenham shot-stopper Paulo Gazzaniga, the winger then shot wide after a good run into the box.
Accurate with 25 of his 27 passes in his time on the pitch, Gil also had four shots - two of which were two big chances missed - three passes into the final third and won six of his ten duels. The games keep coming thick and fast for Sevilla, with Espanyol travelling to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium on Thursday night, thus giving the team a full week to prepare for the first leg of their Europa League semi-final showdown against Juventus.
Tanguy Ndombele (Napoli)
The champagne remains on ice in Naples for now after Napoli passed up the opportunity to win the Serie A title in front of their own fans on Sunday afternoon. Needing a win to clinch their first Scudetto in 33 years after Lazio fell to a defeat at Inter Milan in the early kick-off, Luciano Spalletti's men could only manage a 1-1 draw with Salernitana.
Having started in their previous Serie A match as they won away at Juventus, Tanguy Ndombele was named on the bench and only came on with one minute to play. The Frenchman will be hoping for more minutes on Thursday evening when they travel to Udinese, especially as one point will be enough to see the club win the Scudetto for only the third time in their history.
Destiny Udogie (Udinese)
Udinese's hopes of securing a top-half finish took a blow last Friday evening as they lost 1-0 away at Lecce. The only goal of the contest came from the penalty spot, with Destiny Udogie the man to concede the penalty after fouling Valentin Gendrey in the area.
Although he may have conceded the penalty after catching the Lecce man, Udogie did more than play his part for Udinese as, per Fotmob, he was successful with five of his seven dribbles, registered a 90 per cent pass completion rate, made three passes into the final third, was accurate with his only long ball of the game and came out on top in 10 of his 16 duels.
Facing league leaders Napoli at home on Monday, Udinese are back in action four days later when Sampdoria make the trip to Stadio Friuli.
Harry Winks (Sampdoria)
Harry Winks and Sampdoria need a miracle if they are to retain their place in Serie A for the 2023/24 campaign. Currently propping up the table, the Genoa-based club are ten points adrift of safety with six games remaining.
Their last match saw them humiliated 5-0 at Fiorentina, with the last four goals coming in the final 28 minutes of the contest. Winks got 90 minutes under his belt for the 13th time in his last 14 Sampdoria appearances but he could do nothing as their opponents ran riot.
Hosting Torino at Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Wednesday evening, Sampdoria then travel to Udinese on Monday evening.
Giovani Lo Celso (Villarreal)
After such a frustrating first half of the term, with injury stopping him from featuring in Argentina's successful World Cup campaign, Giovani Lo Celso is now looking to make up for lost time in what remains of the season. Making his return to action in March and eased in off the bench in his first four league appearances, the Argentina has now started the Yellow Submarines' last five league games and created 21 chances and assisted three goals in that time.
His latest came on Sunday as he teed up Nicolas Jackson with a precise through ball for the team's second goal in their 3-1 victory over Celta Vigo. Lo Celso would only be on the pitch for 45 minutes but he once again had a big say for his team in the final third.
Now five points off a Champions League place with six games of the La Liga season left, Lo Celso could have a pivotal role to play if Villarreal are to overhaul Real Sociedad in fourth in what remains of the season. Valencia are next up on Wednesday evening.
Sergio Reguilon (Atletico Madrid)
Getting his first minutes in La Liga in the recent 1-0 defeat at Barcelona since his red card against Almeria midway through January, Sergio Reguilon has been an unused substitute in Atletico Madrid's past two games. Cruising to a 5-2 win away at Real Valladolid, Diego Simeone made a host of changes in the second half but the left-back was not one of them.
Only making six appearances in total for Atleti in what has been a nightmare season for the player since leaving Tottenham on loan, Reguilon will be praying that a few more opportunities come his way in their final six league fixtures, although that would appear very unlikely going on his season to date.
Cadiz are next up for Reguilon and Atleti on Wednesday evening.
Troy Parrott (Preston North End)
Troy Parrot and Preston's Championship play-off dreams came to an end last weekend following a 4-1 defeat away at Sheffield United. Putting themselves in a good position in recent weeks, the Lancashire club have failed to win in their last four league games and that has unfortunately put an end to their promotion aspirations.
Parrott played 88 minutes of Saturday's 4-1 defeat at Bramall Lane and he was given a rating of five in Lancashire Live's player ratings. They wrote: "Looked annoyed with the decision-making from teammates in the first half, with him making runs but not receiving the ball. Had a couple of openings over the game, but couldn't find the finish."
Parrott's final game in his Preston loan spell comes on Monday when they host Sunderland at Deepdale.
Harvey White (Derby)
One player who looks on course to be taking part in the end of season play-offs is Harvey White. Heading into the final game of the League One season, Derby County are in pole position to secure the final play-off place but Peterborough will be hoping the Rams slip up at Sheffield Wednesday and they can take full advantage away at Barnsley.
Derby missed the chance to seal a top-six finish last weekend after only managing a 1-1 draw against White's former loan club Portsmouth. The midfielder was named on the bench for the seventh game on the trot and came on for the final seven minutes of the contest.
With the regular season coming to an end this weekend, White will be hoping that he has an extra three games in his Derby loan spell as they look to clinch a play-off place and then go all the way to Wembley and seal promotion back to the Championship at the first time of asking.
Dane Scarlett (Portsmouth)
Whereas White was given seven minutes in Derby's 1-1 draw with Portsmouth, Dane Scarlett was an unused substitute for the game at Pride Park. The Portsmouth loanee has really seen his minutes dry up in recent months, with four appearances to his name in Pompey's last 11 league matches.
The 19-year-old will bid farewell to Fratton Park on Sunday when they host Wycombe Wanderers in a midday kick-off. In total, Scarlett has six goals and two assists from his 40 appearances in all competitions for Portsmouth.
