The Minnesota Vikings moved on from Adam Thielen earlier this offseason and now need to fill the void left by him. While they have yet to address this need via free agency, the team could look to the NFL Draft to help replace Thielen.
On Tuesday, Brentley Weissman of The Draft Network released his latest mock draft and had the Vikings selecting Boston College wide receiver Zay Flowers.
Adam Thielen’s run with the Vikings has ended and the team must look to add another receiver to go opposite Justin Jefferson. The speedy playmaker out of Boston College could be a great fit as a deep-threat option and he is also excellent with the ball in his hands after the catch.
Flowers is an exceptional talent on the football field and could instantly come in and help the Vikings offense. He has the speed to be a true downfield threat while also having the versatility to play inside and outside.
Drafting Flowers would truly be a perfect combination for Justin Jefferson. Combining these two with tight end T.J. Hockenson and the Vikings offense would have incredible potential.
