It’s always amazing to learn about other cultures. Anytime you can be introduced to something new, it’s a good thing.
But what makes Kasina’s Won-Ang Air Max 1 so special is the fact that the story is just so sweet. These shoes are based off of a centuries-old wedding tradition in South Korea that still goes on to this day.
This shoe explores that tradition through the different colors, details and textures featured so prominently on this shoe. It’s one of the best sneakers we’ve seen this year.
But is it the sneaker of the year so far? I’m not sure. It doesn’t really matter that much — these joints are so good we’ll be talking about them years from now regardless.
