Michigan State football has extended an offer to a highly-touted Maryland edge rusher in the 2027 class.
Joseph Buchanan of Owings Mills, Md. announced last week that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. Buchanan made the offer from the Spartans known via a post on social media platform X.
Buchanan is an unranked prospect on 247Sports. He plays for McDonogh High, and is listed at 6-foot-4.5 and 240 pounds.
Michigan State is one of 10 schools to offer Buchanan, according to 247Sports. He also has offers from Boston College, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Penn State, Oregon, Pitt, Syracuse, USC and Wisconsin.
