Michigan State football has extended an offer to one of the top cornerback prospects in the 2027 class.
Four-star cornerback Hayden Stepp of Las Vegas announced on Thursday that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. Stepp made the recruiting news announcement known via a post on his X account.
Stepp plays for the powerhouse high school program Bishop Gorman. He is ranked as the No. 5 cornerback in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2027 class. He’s also listed as the No. 2 player from Nevada and No. 46 overall prospect in the class.
Michigan State is one of a few programs to offer Stepp, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Georgia, Miami (FL), Boise State, Cal and UNLV.
