Michigan State football has extended a scholarship to one of the top linebacker prospects in the 2026 class.
Four-star linebacker Taven Epps of Tustin, Calif. has received a scholarship offer from the Spartans. Rivals recruiting analyst Ryan O’Bleness reported the offer for Epps from Michigan State on Friday.
Epps ranks as the No. 2 linebacker in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2026 class. He’s also listed as the No. 62 overall prospect in the class.
Michigan State is one of nearly 20 programs to offer Epps, according to 247Sports. He also holds notable offers from Arizona, Cal, Georgia, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, SMU, Tennessee, Texas, UCLA, USC, Utah and Washington.
