Michigan State basketball moved up one spot in the latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll released on Monday.
Michigan State is now ranked at No. 18 in the latest poll. The Spartans have been ranked for four straight weeks now, with this being the highest spot in the rankings for the Spartans.
Michigan State is 10-2 overall and in the midst of a five-game winning streak. The Spartans are off this week and will return to action next week their final non-conference game of the season vs. Western Michigan.
Four other teams from the Big Ten were ranked this week: Oregon (No. 9), UCLA (No. 21), Illinois (No. 22) and Purdue (No. 25).
