Michigan State football picked up a massive win this past weekend and to no surprise experienced a big jump in the latest USA TODAY all 134 teams rankings.
The Spartans moved up 13 spots in the latest edition of Paul Myerberg’s college football re-rank of all 134 teams. Michigan State moved up to No. 58 in the latest poll from Myerberg on USA TODAY.
Michigan State is now No. 12 out of the 18 Big Ten teams. The Spartans are ahead of the following Big Ten schools: Rutgers (No. 63), Maryland (No. 65), Minnesota (No. 68), Northwestern (No. 81), UCLA (No. 106), and Purdue (No. 113).
Michigan State is 4-3 overall and 2-2 in Big Ten play following the win over Iowa this past weekend. The Spartans will next face in-state rival Michigan on Saturday night in Ann Arbor, Mich.
