Things didn’t get much better for the Spartans in the second half, throwing a 72-yard pick-six on their opening drive to put the final nail in their coffin. Michigan star quarterback J.J. McCarthy would throw one more touchdown to finish with a career-high four touchdown passes before getting pulled midway through the third quarter.

Michigan State was out gained  477 to 190 yards in the loss. Michigan State also committed a pair of turnovers to zero for the Wolverines

Michigan State will return to the field next Saturday in a road game at Minnesota. Kickoff between the Spartans and Golden Gophers is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET.
