Spanish side Alaves are 'negotiating' to sign Liverpool defender Anderson Arroyo on loan next season, according to reports.
Outlet El Correo claim the club are 'confident' they can persuade the 22-year-old to join them in Spain's second division, although they're expected to face stiff competition from Elche. Arroyo spent last season on loan CD Mirandes, who also play in the second tier.
The Colombia international joined the Reds in January 2018, but was immediately loaned to RCD Mallorca B. Ever since, he's had loan spells in Belgium, the Czech Republic and further stints in Spain.

Arroyo joined Liverpool at the age of 18 but is yet to obtain a work permit, but he still hopes to one day play for his parent club. He said in an interview with liverpool.com earlier this year: "Liverpool have always been attentive to me while out on loan.
"I want to establish myself in European football and hopefully one day stay at Liverpool."
The youngster has previously lined up alongside Luis Diaz at international level, when they both played for Colombia's U20 side at the Copa America in 2017. Diaz joined Liverpool from Porto earlier this year and Arroyo will hope to follow in the 25-year-old's footsteps.
Last season Arroyo made 42 appearances in all competitions for Mirandes and his impressive displays appear to have earned him plenty of potential suitors this summer.
