Holidaymakers are gearing up for a busy summer season, set to be the first 'proper' holiday for many since Covid hit.
With rules are still changing from week to week however, travellers will need to stay up to date to make sure that they are fully prepared for their trip.
From lingering Covid regulations to post-Brexit rules, there can be a lot to stay on top of ahead of a holiday abroad.
Over the last few weeks, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, and Spain have all made changes to their travel rules.
Turkey is the latest country to scrap travel restrictions joining a list of more than 30 countries without Covid rules this summer.
Here is a breakdown of the latest regulations for popular holiday destinations.
Turkey
Turkey has scrapped all Covid rules for UK holidaymakers, meaning that a negative Covid test or proof of vaccination is no longer required to enter the country.
However, the Foreign Office did say: "COVID-19 entry requirements may change at short notice, you should check the specifics with your airline before you travel".
This comes as local rules are also being lifted with face masks no longer required either indoors or outdoors, so long as there can be social distancing in place.
Turkey's national airline Turkish Airlines has also said: "Wearing a mask on international flights to Türkiye (Turkey) is at the passenger's discretion."
Greece
Greece has also lifted Covid rules, and the face mask rules have been relaxed this month, with the only requirements to wear one being on public transport, in a hospital, or in a care facility for the elderly.
Before the rule change, face masks were mandatory in all indoor public spaces in Greece, including supermarkets and museums.
On June 15, there is set to be further easing of face masks, which will no longer be mandatory on any form of public transport and must be worn only in medical settings.
Cyprus
Cyprus is another country that has scrapped all Covid rules, the country opened its borders earlier than some others but has now scrapped all indoor face mask rules.
It was one of the countries that had a 'traffic light' system to determine what countries could enter which has since been scrapped allowing for a busy summer season.
The sole restriction still in place, like Greece, is face masks in any sort of medical setting.
Spain
Spain announced this week that they will lift all Covid travel restrictions for EU countries - but this will not be extended to UK visitors.
Both vaccinated and unvaccinated people are allowed into the country but there are still some regulations if you are visiting from the UK.
If you are vaccinated you need to show proof that you have had your jabs.
If you are unvaccinated you will need to show that you are negative through a PCR taken within 72 hours prior to departure, or an antigen test taken within 24 hours prior to departure.
British children under 12 are exempt from these rules.
