Brits planning Spain holidays for Easter just got an extra boost as the country has eased some of its entry requirements for unvaccinated travellers.
Previously Spain was only open to fully vaccinated holidaymakers.
However, in a new update shared on the UK Foreign Office website, Spain is welcoming back some unvaccinated travellers - provided they have recovered from Covid within the last six months before travel. To enter Spain, visitors will be required to show a medical certificate or recovery record.
The rules apply to anyone aged 12 or over, although Spain recently eased its rules so that unvaccinated teens aged 12-17 can be granted entry provided they have a negative PCR test result taken within 72 hours before arrival.

Children under the age of 12 are exempt from any testing and vaccination requirements.
All travellers also need to fill out a pre-travel form and obtain a QR code to show at border control.
It's worth noting that to be considered as fully vaccinated, you need to have completed your full vaccine course within 270 days (nine months) before travel, otherwise you'll need a booster jab to qualify.
The rules also apply for the Canary Islands and the Balearics.
As for local Covid rules in mainland Spain, face masks remain mandatory in Spain for anyone aged six or over in both indoor public spaces and on public transport.
Brits' holiday options have been increasing in recent months. In fact, Spain is one of 12 countries that recently eased travel rules for Brits within recent weeks.
Other holiday hotspots including France, Portugal, Greece and Cyprus have also relaxed restrictions including scrapping pre-travel Covid tests for UK holidaymakers.
Meanwhile, the UK's own travel rules changed back in February. The main changes including scrapping of Covid tests for fully vaccinated travellers, and the ending of self-isolation rules for unvaccinated arrivals. However, the latter are still required to take both a pre-departure and post-arrival Covid test.
All travellers arriving in the UK also need to fill out a passenger locator form.
