A Southmead man who admits molesting a girl aged under 16 will find out next month whether he will be jailed. Konner Derrick appeared at Bristol Crown Court facing multiple charges of child abuse.
The 24-year-old, of Dunmail Road, pleaded guilty to seven charges of having sexual activity with a child and one charge of causing or inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity. The charges relate to a child aged 13.
Derrick admitted touching the youngster's chest and private parts. He also admitted causing her to touch him inappropriately.

Derek Perry, defending, asked the court for a pre-sentence report from the Probation Service. The Recorder of Bristol His Honour Judge Peter Blair QC acceded to the request and adjourned sentence until September 7.
The judge handed Derrick conditional bail and told him to register his whereabouts to police. He told Derrick: "No indication is being given one way or another as to sentence."
