Southampton vs Swansea Preview
Southampton are coming off a 5-0 thrashing by Brentford and have struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League – sacking Russell Martin after winning just one league match.
New manager, Ivan Juric, has a huge task on his hands to keep Southampton in the Premier League but his attention turns to the FA Cup on Sunday.
The Saints have won the competition once, clinching the trophy in 2002/03 and reached the quarter finals in 2021/22 and semi finals in 2020/21 and 2017/18.
In contrast, Swansea have only gone past the quarter final stages of the FA Cup once, reaching the semi finals in 1963/64.
Luke Williams’ side come into this match on a mixed run of form, winning just two of their last six league matches and defeat on Sunday would make it three matches without a win across all competitions.
The Swans currently sit 12th in the Championship, six points off the play-off places and 11 points above the relegation zone – meaning a cup run could be needed to avoid another mediocre season.

Southampton vs Swansea Prediction
The Saints are being favoured to win this FA Cup clash on UK betting sites due to their league superiority – but their form this season could make for an interesting clash.
With that in mind, we expect Swansea to cause issues at St Mary’s but the hosts should have enough to secure a narrow cup victory.
Prediction: Southampton 2-1 Swansea
