Southampton have reportedly shortlisted Manchester City striker Liam Delap this summer.
The Saints have already poached one City youngster this summer with Gavin Bazunu, who spent last season on loan at Portsmouth, moving to St Mary's on a permanent deal last week. Ralph Hasenhuttl is believed to not be finished with signing Blues players though and is now targetting 19-year-old Delap.
Delap was in good goalscoring form for Brian Barry-Murphy's academy side last season in the Premier League 2. He found the back of the net eight times in 10 matches while he also featured sparingly in the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup for Pep Guardiola's men, although injuries meant he was on the sidelines for a good chunk of the season.

According to The Sun via Give Me Sport, Delap is being targeted by Hasenhuttl and the teenager may be convinced of a switch to the south coast due to being part of the same agency as Saints captain James Ward-Prowse. They add that the teenager could be looking for a move away due to him not expecting much game time next season with their arrivals of Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez to the Etihad.
Elsewhere Fabrizio Romano is reporting that City youngster Samuel Edozie is on the verge of a move to Germany. A permanent deal has reportedly been agreed between the club and Bayer Leverkusen.
Romano adds that the contract for Edozie will last until 2024 and that the deal should be completed 'soon'. The Englishman featured just once for the City first team last campaign with that appearance coming in the Community Shield.
