Days before tens of thousands of fans flock to Bents Park in South Shields to see the likes of Whigfield, Sonique and D:Ream, the Dance Revial outdoor concert has been targeted by ticket scammers, with organisers issuing a warning to fans.
This year's South Tyneside Festival gigs have been really popular so far, with the likes of Will Young, The South and Ella Henderson pulling in large crowds and bringing fine weather with them, as the coast was bathed in temperatures well in excess of 20 degrees. The third of four concerts takes place on Sunday, July 24.
And it looks like bring the most popular one yet, as for the first time this year, all priority tickets for Dance Revival were snapped up earlier this week, as those who've bought them look forward to enjoying early entry to get a good spot to see a line-up which also includes Phats & Small and Kelly Llorenna.

But, ahead of what looks to be another packed out Sunday at Bents Park, with normal entry completely FREE of charge, South Tyneside Festival organisers have taken to Facebook to warn that scammers have been attempting to sell fraudulent tickets for an inflated price.
A post was made on the festival's page on Thursday which read: "We have been made aware of scammers trying to sell Priority Plus tickets for the Dance Revival concert on Sunday 24 July. Please be extra vigilant to avoid being scammed. Go to www.actionfraud.police.uk for more information and advice.."
Following that up on Friday, organisers reminded the public that there are also still just a few days left to get tickets for next weekend's last Bents Park gig, which will feature Shalamar, The Fizz and local band Rivelino.
