A Liverpool café has been praised after announcing it will be opening its doors on Christmas Day once again.
Coast Café Bistro is located on Allerton Road in Woolton Village and will be continuing its tradition of being open on December 25. The café will open from 9.30am until 12pm and will be giving out food and drink to anyone who wishes to visit.
In a statement posted on Facebook, it wrote: "We are continuing our tradition of opening on Christmas Day! As usual we will be giving away teas, coffees, butties and plenty of mince pies to anyone who fancies calling in.

"Whether you're a regular visitor or on your own at a loose end, pop in and say hello! If you know anyone who might fancy a free cuppa and somewhere warm for a chat, please let them know we will be open from 9.30-12. Happy Christmas, love team Coast."
The post was met with a flurry of positive comments, as people rushed to praise the café for its kind gesture. One person said: "You guys are the best."
