South Lanarkshire Council are holding a career event this week to support locals who are out of work.
The event is open to anyone, whether they face redundancy, have been made redundant, are looking for a return to work after a career break or are unemployed.
There will be potential employers at the event and PACE (Partnership Action for Continuing Employment) partner organisations who help with redundancy support will be in attendance.
There will also be information about job search support along with advice on careers, pensions and benefits.
The free event will take place on Wednesday (April 6) from 10 am until 3pm at Motherwell Civic Hall.
