Plans to develop a bed and breakfast in Stonehouse have been submitted to South Lanarkshire council.
It is proposed that the accommodation will be built on vacant land at Manse Road in Stonehouse, taking up 5211 square metres.
The bed and breakfast will have a lounge, dining room, two ensuite rooms on the ground floor with a master bedroom and a bigger room to accommodate a family with ensuites on the first floor. There will be 10 parking spaces at the site for guests to use.
Plans for the development are being drawn up by Design Technical Architecture- an East Kilbride firm.
The planning application was received by South Lanarkshire council on April 1 and validated on April 11.
Neighbourhood consultation began on Wednesday 13 and will end on May 4 with standard consultation starting on April 11 and ending on April 25.
The deadline for determining the application is June 10.
