South Lanarkshire Council has launched a survey for the public to share thoughts on adult protection.
South Lanarkshire Adult Protection Committee is asking many questions, including the public’s understanding of adult protection.
The committee has the responsibility of making sure those who are or may be at risk are supported and protected.
The role of the South Lanarkshire Adult Protection Committee is to also raise awareness in relation to adult support and protection.
Safaa Baxter, chairwoman of the committee, told us : “As part of our responsibilities, we have developed a community survey to see what people know about the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007.
“We want to know what knowledge you already have in relation to the Act and identify any ongoing learning and developmental needs.”
The information gathered from feedback will be used by the committee to continue to improve public information and community engagement in relation to adult support and protection within South Lanarkshire.
The survey is available here and will be live until April 7.
