Republican U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina is seeking a third term with the endorsement of former President Donald Trump, despite his previous criticism of her. Mace has garnered significant attention beyond a typical second-term member of Congress, making frequent appearances on interview shows and advocating for moderation within her party on issues such as abortion and marijuana.

In the 1st District, where Mace is running for reelection, she faces two Republican opponents in the primary. Her main rival, Catherine Templeton, criticizes Mace for being inconsistent in her positions and promises to be a more reliable Republican voice if elected.

Marine veteran and financial planner Bill Young is also competing in the primary, potentially leading to a runoff election on June 25 if no candidate secures a majority of votes on Tuesday.

On the Democratic side in the 1st District, businessman Michael Moore and lawyer Mac Deford are vying for the nomination.

In the 4th District, Republican Rep. William Timmons is facing a tough reelection battle amid personal allegations. His challenger, Rep. Adam Morgan, is positioning himself as a more conservative alternative, with support from figures like former President Trump and Rep. Matt Gaetz.

South Carolina's 3rd District is up for grabs following Rep. Jeff Duncan's decision not to seek reelection. Seven Republicans are competing for the seat, with no clear frontrunner. Gov. Henry McMaster has endorsed nurse practitioner Sheri Biggs, while Trump has backed Black pastor Mark Burns.

Other races in South Carolina include Republican Rep. Joe Wilson facing a primary challenge in the 2nd District, and the 6th and 7th Districts gearing up for competitive primaries ahead of the general election.
