Thierry Henry has namechecked Jurgen Klopp when discussing how what he says as a pundit is often used to question managers.
The French striker played for Monaco, Juventus, Arsenal, Barcelona and New York Red Bulls during an illustrious career, scoring a total of 360 goals in 792 appearances. He also played for France on 123 occasions, scoring 51 times.
But after two decades scoring goals for fun, Henry agreed to join Sky Sports as a pundit back in December 2016. He joined a Sky stable that included Gary Neville, Jamie Redknapp, Jamie Carragher and Graeme Souness.

Since then, Henry has worked for a number of broadcasters across the world, and regularly features on CBS Sports during their Champions League coverage. But when discussing his role as a pundit, the former Arsenal man has taken aim at what he describes as 'lazy journalists' who hide behind what he has said instead of aksing their own questions.
“It was not easy at the beginning, especially now, lazy journalists - I'm not talking everybody - will use what a pundit will say to go and speak to a boss,” he told Ben Foster’s Amazon Prime Show.
“Have your own questions, I said what I said on TV, ask me. Don't hide behind me to go and say 'err, err, sorry Mr Klopp, Jamie Carragher said that you...' ask your own question.”
