Sophie Xeon's girlfriend has told of how she found the star alive following her tragic rooftop fall and told her to "keep fighting".
Evita Manji has shared her heartbreak after the musician's sudden death at the age of 34.
She died in Athens, Greece, yesterday in a fall after she had climbed to take a picture of the full moon.
The death of the Scottish artist, who was also known as SOPHIE, was reported by her record label Transgressive.
They said in a statement: "Tragically our beautiful Sophie passed away this morning after a terrible accident.
"True to her spirituality she had climbed up to watch the full moon and accidentally slipped and fell.
"She will always be here with us. The family thank everyone for their love and support and request privacy at this devastating time."
Evita has since spoken of the tragic accident.
She told MailOnline : "I managed to tell her I love her and to tell her to keep fighting. She was my life. We were supposed to get married."
A senior police official told the publication that the exact conditions of Sophie's fall are being investigated..
Evita wrote in an emotional tribute: "I guess this is what it's like to wake up from a dream, because my life with you felt like the best dream Sophie.
"Everyday was an endless stream of love and acceptance, a journey to know you deeper and deeper.
"Today I lost my everything... I can feel your energy everywhere around and inside me, you're guiding me through this and calm me down like you would always do. Every particle of me will always have a piece of you.
"Sophie was a real angel, she was the sweetest, the kindest to every soul and everything around her. A very very special creature... She was so curious about what is out there in the cosmos, I can feel her being happy and excited to explore the unknown.
"She's an immaterial girl now, she can be anything she wants... and she is in everything around us."
Sophie, who came out as a transgender woman in 2017 music video It's Okay To Cry, worked with artists including Madonna and Charli XCX during her career.
Speaking about being transgender, she said in 2018: "It means there's no longer an expectation based on the body you were born into, or how your life should play out and how it should end.
"Traditional family models and structures of control disappear.
"Transness is taking control to bring your body more in line with your soul and spirit so the two aren't fighting against each other and struggling to survive."
Sophie was born in Glasgow and began a DJing career before releasing her debut single in 2013.
She produced for Charli XCX and Madonna before making a solo comeback with the track and video in which she revealed she was transgender.
She brought out her first and only album in 2018 and was nominated for a Grammy Award.
Her latest single, UNISIL, was released just two days before her sudden death.
