ICYMI, ex- contestant and current influencer Cachia was reportedly seen chatting with Kennedy. Now, this was spicy goss as just a few weeks ago, Cachia split from her fiancée . It was very much giving the five stages of a breakup in real time.
The claims came from gossip site and podcast , which reported Cachia and Kennedy were seen at AAMI park during a Matildas soccer game.
Kennedy is a star player but wasn’t on the field, and Cachia was apparently spotted in the “family section” of the audience.
“[I] think they could be back on,” a source told .
“Alanna went over to talk to her at the end of the game.”
However, those claims have now been absolutely refuted.
Kaider said Kennedy and Cachia were definitely not “back on”.
He also said Kennedy didn’t approach Cachia after the game. She actually went over to talk to him plus his colleague — and Cachia wasn’t with them. Dun da dun!!!
The source said the two appeared to be creating plans to catch up. At first glance that seems pretty reasonable. Who among us hasn’t tried to hang with an ex after a horrible breakup?
But Kaider has denied this took place. Kennedy was actually making plans with him and his colleague instead.
So after all that, there’s absolutely no dice on the Alanna Kennedy X Sophie Cachia reunion. My heart can’t bloody take this.
ICYMI, Sophie Cachia and Alanna Kennedy began dating in 2020. In May, Cachia told the that her relationship with Kennedy became “toxic” because of their power dynamic.
She said because she saw Kennedy as such an “incredibly strong woman”, she found herself “cowering down to someone all the time… willingly”.
“And that’s what I was attracted to,” she said at the time.
“Because it was such a different relationship dynamic for me. I’d never known anything like that. So I thought, ‘Oh, this feels different. I’m gonna go with this.”
Cachia then dated Maddie Garrick and the two became engaged in March this year — only to have a very sudden and .
The break up came complete with , a , and . And is any breakup complete with a rumoured (though now debunked) ex reunion? I think not.
