Sophie Austin and Shayne Ward have given fans a glimpse inside their unborn daughter's nursery, as they count down the days until they welcome their second child.
The Hollyoaks actress, 38, and X Factor star, 37, shared a sneak peek into their baby preparations with the daughter Willow May, five, even playing a hand in picking out decorations for her sibling's room.
Taking to Instagram, Sophie revealed the nursery has been painted traditionally pink.
There is a white cot and white wardrobe alongside pink furnishings – and it is Peter Rabbit themed.
Sharing a series of snaps with her 184,000 followers, Sophie wrote: “Slowly getting there with nursery and loving our new set by @icklebubba.”
Posting another snap of the cot with a bunny mobile hanging above it, the 38-year-old said: “Keeping it white with blush pink and always Peter Rabbit.”
Speaking of her eldest daughter’s involvement with the decor, she added: “Willow chose the colours.”
Sophie also posted a video to her Instagram stories begging fans to help with tips to bring on labour.
Speaking into the camera, the soon to be mum-of-two said: “Hi guys. What I would really appreciate now is if anyone has got any ideas, options or recommendations to bring on labour, because I am so ready now.”
Detailing the effects the late stages of pregnancy has had on her body, Sophie admitted: “I’m so massive. My arse has expanded. It’s massive, it’s spread right out - and acid reflux is real.”
She continued: “So yeah, any ideas message me.”
Sophie and Shayne have been engaged since 2017 but were forced to postpone their wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The actress became pregnant with their second baby following a gruelling round of IVF.
She described the time as "emotionally draining" but praised her husband for his support, adding that they went through the experience together.
She said: “My mental health was probably on the floor. If it hadn’t been for Shayne and Willow… I’ve never felt so depressed and low in my whole life.
“I think it was Shayne’s positivity and belief that kept me going. I would be saying: ‘We need to accept this might not happen,’ and he would refuse.”
Shayne told Hello! magazine he never gave up on the couple having more children.
He said: “I would always say to Sophie: ‘I know in my gut and in my heart of hearts that we are going to have more children.’
“There was no two ways about it. It’s been a whirlwind.
“And 16 years after I appeared on The X Factor , I have a beautiful family and one on the way. I am on cloud nine. It’s amazing that we’re going to have another girl to add to the Ward clan.”
