Sophie Anderton weds Count Kaz Balinski-Jundzill after postponing wedding 4 times

Former I’m A Celeb and Celebrity Big Brother star Sophie Anderton is now a happily married woman after tying-the-knot with boyfriend of four years Count Kaz Balinski-Jundzill.

The 44-year-old former ‘90s It-girl says she is over the moon to be married to her “best friend” after they swapped vows at a ceremony in Ireland last week.

Sophie and 52-year-old Count Kaz – who was previously married to TV chef Lorraine Pascale, 48, and with whom he shares 24-year-old Charlie’s Angels actress daughter Ella Balinska – had been forced to postpone their big day three times due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Now the model and reality star is looking forward to a future of happiness with her new husband – who works in the oil industry, is part of Polish aristocracy, and owns a 1,500-acre estate, Glendalough House, in County Wicklow.

Speaking to the Daily Mail last Friday about her big day, Sophie gushed: “Yesterday, I married my best friend, soulmate and lifetime partner in crime.

“I cannot believe after so many obstacles and date changes, I am officially Mrs Kaz Balinksi.”

The happy couple are said to have married at a ceremony in Ireland – finally becoming husband and wife after being forced to postpone their wedding day multiple times.

The Covid pandemic forced the pair to reorganise their wedding twice last year – while their planned late July 2021 wedding was also pushed back again to early August after one of Count Kaz’s four children fell ill.

Sophie and Count Kaz had been together for four years before swapping vows.

Back in 2018, Sophie spoke excitedly about her then still-fresh romance and the future she envisioned with the Count.

She told Beautiful Thinking at the time: “I’m really looking forward to getting married and having children. I've been waiting for someone to be an amazing father to my children, and it was so worth the wait.”

Last year, she opened up to the Daily Mail about her disappointment at having to postpone her big day.

She said: “We feel our life together is moving forwards after the standstill of the past eight months. It will only be a civil wedding in February — a very small affair.

“But we'll have a big blessing ceremony in the summer that Kaz's children can attend and all my family and friends who are all around the world.”

The ex-model also shared her joy at starting her new life with the Count over in green and lush Ireland.

She gushed: “The best thing I ever did was get out of London — much as I love London. I've now got the mountains.”

While Sophie has never married before, she has enjoyed high-profile romances in the past.

She previously dated businessman Ed Buxton between 2007 and 2008, was engaged to businessman Mark Alexiou in 2005 – but split soon after.

She was also linked to businessman Simon Jordan in 2006, ex-footballer Mark Bosnich in 2002 until 2004, and singer Matt Goss back in 1998.

The star also had a relationship with British businessman Lord Robert Hanson, 60, in the late 1990s.

Count Kaz, meanwhile, was married to Lorraine Pascale between 1995 and 2000, and has three children from a previous relationship.
