Sony Electronics has revealed their new family of gaming hardware that is aimed at PC and Playstation 5 gamers. The new brand Inzone consists of three gaming headsets and two monitors.
These new gaming accessories have been designed with professional gamers in mind and look to dramatically enrich the gaming experience.
The Inzone brand is Sony’s new venture into PC gaming with this family of competitive hardware leading the charge.
Inzone’s two gaming monitors, the M9 and M3 are new flagship products that utilise the best technology from Sony Electronics.
The M9 and M3 are 27' gaming monitors that have a similar aesthetic to the PS5, especially the colour scheme.
The M9 has a 4K resolution with a refresh rate of 144Hz, whilst the M3 is 1080p with a refresh rate of 240Hz.
Both monitors are built with 1ms GtG response speed, NVIDIA G-Sync Compatibility and a Variable Refresh Rate in HDMI 2.1.
They come equipped with auto HDR Tone Mapping, which allows the PS5 to automatically recognise the monitor and optimise the HDR settings.
The M9 features full-array local dimming along with DisplayHDR 600, which allows for brighter highlights and darker blacks, while Sony opted for DisplayHDR 400 for the M3.
Sony has included a ton of great features that aim to deliver the ultimate gaming experience at competitive prices. The M9 is due to launch in the summer while the M3 will be released later this year.
The Inzone M9 (£999) and Inzone M3 (Price to be revealed) can be preordered on Sony.co.uk
The design of Inzone’s three gaming headsets the H9, H7 and H3 are the complete opposite of the Pulse 3D that launched with the PS5.
The three models look identical but their price points dictate their specific design differences. The H9 is a wireless headset with noise cancellation and soft leather ear pads for comfortable long game sessions.
The H7 is also a wireless headset but it comes built with nylon ear pads and lacks noise cancellation software. Whilst the H3 is wired and also omits the noise cancellation.
The H9 and H7 come with a simultaneous Bluetooth connection that allows them to be used with multiple devices, as well as low latency software.
All three come with an adjustable boom microphone and access to INZONE Hub PC software which will allow games to personalise their audio experience. All three gaming headsets will be available in July
The Inzone H9 (£269.00), Inzone H7 (£199.00) and Inzone H3 (£89.00) can be preordered on Sony.co.uk
Sony is really looking to break into the PC gaming market whilst catering for the needs of Playstation 5 owners, so it’s going to be very interesting to see how they perform when released.
