Son Heung-min sends big warning to Arsenal as Antonio Conte's Tottenham preperation goes to plan

Son Heung-min scored once again for South Korea, showing that he has returned to form ahead of the North London derby which takes place this weekend.

The Spurs forward scored in his country's 1-0 win over Cameroon, with the 30-year-old reacting quickest as the ball was parried by Andre Onana from a shot by Kin Jin-su. This goal was very different to his goal in Friday's draw with Costa Rica, with Son's spectacular free-kick earning a 1-1 result.

However, this win against African Cup of Nations finalists Cameroon shows South Korea's solid form led by the Premier League Golden Boot winner as they head into the World Cup in Qatar. They will be in Group H alongside Portugal, Ghana and Uruguay which will be a tough assignment for the Asian side, who beat Germany in 2018's tournament as they exited at the group stage alongside the holders.

Son's return to form comes at a perfect time for Spurs and South Korea, with the forward not having scored before he came on as a second-half substitute against Leicester in his side's last Premier League fixture. He scored a hat-trick in that 6-2 win and will be hoping for a similar display with the visit of Arsenal this weekend.

He has scored four goals in his last five fixtures against the Gunners, and will hope to be on top form for the fixture. However, he will hope to be ready for Saturday's early fixture with jetlag a likely issue for the player who will return to London from Seoul this week.
