Son Heung-min grants Tottenham support their big wish and drops major transfer hint in doing so

Son Heung-min has finally granted Tottenham fans their long-awaited wish by joining Twitter, while also dropping a sneaky summer transfer hint in the process. The 29-year-old christened his account — @Sonny7 — with a selfie and typical introductory message announcing his arrival on the social media platform.

"Hi everyone this is the real me, excited to open my twitter," the South Korea international's tweet said, before adding a message below in his native language. "Hello, my name is Heung-Min Son. I finally opened my official Twitter! I hope to be able to share more fun and happy news here with fans in the future :) Please look forward to it."

Son, who is within touching distance of the Premier League golden boot with 19 goals this season, has followed just nine people on his Twitter account, one of which is Christian Eriksen. According to the Evening Standard, Tottenham are among several top-flight sides who are interested in signing the 30-year-old at the end of the season.

The report adds that Manchester United Leicester City, and Newcastle are also interested in acquiring Eriksen's services. The Denmark international has impressed at Brentford since joining the Bees in January on a six-month deal.

He's enjoyed a spectacular campaign with Thomas Frank's side, featuring eight times in the Premier League while directly contributing to three goals. The former Spurs midfielder has grown into a driving force for Brentford, steering the west London side away from relegation back into the Championship.

So, with growing interest in the midfielder, Roy Keane and Jamie Carragher have handed transfer chief Paratici the ultimatum he needs to accelerate a deal. Speaking on Sky Sports, the former Manchester United midfielder said: "He’s the bit of quality, he’s the one bit of hope to get back into the game. He’s fantastic. We have seen with his ball for Toney’s header. All the good stuff has come through Eriksen."

Singing from the same hymn sheet, the former Liverpool defender showered Eriksen with praise for his display at Old Trafford. Carragher said: "It was a brilliant. When you think about it, kick-off is a set piece. They’ve worked on this, straight from kick-off. Eriksen’s been fantastic."

The interest in Eriksen follows the Telegraph's report which outlines that Antonio Conte wants Fabio Paratici to sign up to eight players in the summer. However, Spurs are reportedly unable to fund the Italian boss' overhaul and instead are focusing on bringing in a new left-sided centre-back.
