Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min has given his thoughts on Antonio Conte's departure as manager. Spurs came to a mutual agreement with Conte to terminate his contract before the end of the season during the international break.
The Italian's assistant, Cristian Stellini, is set to take charge of the team alongside Ryan Mason until the end of the season. Former Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann has emerged as a potential successor to Conte, with reports suggesting Daniel Levy is seeking clarification as to whether the German would be keen on a move to N17.
Conte sent a message to supporters just days after he was sacked thanking those who 'appreciated and shared' his passion for football. Son's team-mate, Dejan Kulusevski, admitted that the Italian's departure was 'sad' but that the players need to back Levy's decision and move on.

Conte was in charge for just 16 months at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and now Son has delivered a verdict on his exit from the club. Speaking to Korean media after South Korea's friendly against Uruguay, the 30-year-old forward said: "I'm very sorry to him [Conte].
"He is a World-class manager, we had great journey together, I thank him a lot. I do not know how other players are thinking about him, but I'm sorry to him.
"I should have shown more but I couldn't. I couldn't help the team and I feel responsible as he left the club.
"He surely has great ability and experience as a coach and I'm sure he'll have great success in his other career. Coming back to Spurs, I wish to finish the rest of the season in a great way with my teammates, for our club."
Tottenham have just 10 games left to play this season as they aim to secure Champions League qualification by finishing inside the top four. Son has endured a difficult season but will be hoping he can find some goal-scoring form once again after scoring just six goals in the Premier League this term.
