A London financial services firm has agreed a partnership deal with Somerset County Cricket Club for the second year in a row.
Online trading platform Trade Nation will be the main shirt sponsors for the club's T20 and T20 live stream, it has announced. The shirt will be worn by the team for this season's T20 competition.
Trade Nation said it was "proud" to sponsor the club again following its last year’s final appearance. As part of the partnership, Trade Nation will attend all home games and will support and facilitate competitions and giveaways throughout the season, it said.
“Trade Nation’s partnership with Somerset County Cricket Club has been immensely rewarding and we’re incredibly excited to build further on the great results we’ve had over the past two years,” said Trade Nation chief executive Stuart Lane.
“We are eager and excited to see the new T20 shirts on the field soon, and support Somerset Cricket Club throughout the season.”
The trading services provider said it would also continue to support local charities with £50 per six and £150 for each out-of-grounder hit. The firm said it had already "donated thousands" to a number of local charities in the county, including Children's Hospital South West; Portishead RNLI; Somerset Disability; and Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
Caroline Herbert, Somerset County Cricket Club commercial director, added: “It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Trade Nation during the last two years. We are thrilled with the new shirts, and look forward to the forthcoming events that we have planned with Trade Nation.”
