United Utilities workers are continuing to work to fix a burst water main on the Mancunian Way - leaving some properties still without water after around 17 hours.
The issue was first reported to the water supply company at around 1.48pm yesterday (Wednesday). Homes and businesses in areas including M13, M14 and M15 were left without water, or had a very low water pressure.
The University of Manchester confirmed that several buildings on its campus were among those affected. Manchester Piccadilly station was also left without running water.

United Utilities sent engineers to fix the main yesterday afternoon. The burst was 'isolated' and water was restored to some properties.
But at around 6.40pm, the company said some customers were still without water. Water tankers were sent to some areas.
At 12.16am this morning, United Utilities said water tanks were continuing to pump water in the area but that 'due to peaks in demand', some customers would still have no water or low pressure. Work was ongoing to fix the burst water main through the night.
An update issued at 6.25am this morning (Thursday) said that some homes and businesses would still be without water. Repair work will continue throughout today.
The update said: "THU, 17TH NOV AT 06:25AM. Thank you for your continued patience whilst we work to fix the burst water main on Mancunian Way.
"Our team are still on site repairing the pipe and will continue throughout the course of the morning. We are sorry if you are still noticing fluctuations in your water pressure or no water at all.
"Our water on wheels tankers will remain in your area whilst we work to fix the problem. We will continue to provide updates as we progress and thank you for your understanding."
The water supply has been restored at Manchester Piccadilly station this morning. A tweet posted by the station at around 6am said: "Water Restored. Good news @unitedutilities have restored our water supply, we may still experience pressure drops during peak times but all toilets and supplies are now back in operation. Thank you. ^SG."
