During the nomination of Speaker Mike Johnson by GOP Rep. Lisa McClain, a majority of the Republican conference showed their support by giving him a standing ovation. However, not all House Republicans participated in the standing ovation, with Reps. Tim Burchett, Andy Biggs, and Eli Crane choosing to remain seated during the speech.

Despite staying seated, these representatives were still observed clapping for Johnson at certain points during the nomination process. This display of support for Johnson from their seats stood out amidst the standing ovation from the rest of the Republican conference.
