The Solway Sharks head to Coventry this weekend in a bid to be crowned national champions and seal a treble.
The Dumfries side were already NIHL Division 1 title winners and added the NIHL North 1 playoff victory to their growing trophy cabinet on Sunday.
That has set up a North vs South Championship match in Coventry on Sunday between the Sharks and NIHL South 1 league and playoff champs Streatham RedHawks from London.
The Sharks defeated Billingham Stars and Whitley Warriors in Leeds to win the playoff prize.
Sharks head coach, Martin Grubb, said: “We came into this semi final knowing that Billingham would come at us and had nothing to lose after making the final four and we would need to match their work rate. The boys deserved to win and put in a commanding, professional performance to give themselves the opportunity to play for the play off title.
“Games against the Warriors are always hard fought and add in the opportunity to be playoff champs then this is always going to be a tight, tense affair.
“We sealed the deal with an empty net goal to ensure that we were crowned Kings of the North.
“The players deserve huge credit for their performances and character.
“I am so proud of them. Our supporters were unbelievable and we loved celebrating with them at the end, and now we have one more trophy to win this weekend in Coventry.”
