Liverpool will face competition from both Inter Milan and Tottenham Hotspur in the fight for Fiorentina and Morocco star Sofyan Amrabat, according to reports.
Like many a player at this winter's World Cup finals in Qatar, Amrabat has enjoyed a breakthrough tournament and has attracted plenty of interest with a string of fine showings in the Middle East.
On Tuesday evening, the 27-year-old helped Morocco reach the last eight of the World Cup finals for the first time in their history as they defeated Spain on penalties after a goalless 120 minutes at the Education City stadium.

The Reds have been linked with a move for the midfielder in recent weeks and months, with his contract at Fiorentina due to expire in the summer of 2024.
However, reports from France claim that Liverpool boast a strong hand in their hunt for the midfielder as manager Jurgen Klopp is said to have already met with the player's entourage.
"According to our information, Sofyan Amrabat's entourage has already met Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp, eager to strengthen his midfield for the second half of the busy season to come," claims a report from Footmercato. "The meeting between the two parties has also been positive, and the latter have planned to see each other again after the 2022 World Cup."
On Saturday, Amrabat and Atlas Lions team-mates will face Portugal in Doha where they will bid to make history and become the first African country to reach the semi-finals of a World Cup. Such is the nature of the achievement at stake for the current cohort of Moroccan internationals, that Amrabat's agent has commented on the current speculation surrounding his client.
"Of course, I get a lot of phone calls for Sofyan," said Mohammed Sinouh, the player's agent. "The whole world has seen he's the best holding midfielder of the World Cup.
"Sofyan is top professional, he's focused on World Cup with Morocco".
The report from France also claims that Fiorentina have the option of extending Amrabat's deal by a further 12 months, which would see him tied down to the Serie A outfit until 2025, at least.
