SoftBank Clocks 6% Revenue Growth In Q3

  • SoftBank Group Corp (OTC:SFTBY) reported a third-quarter FY21 revenue growth of 6% Y/Y to ¥1.6 trillion.
  • Arm revenue grew 20.6% Y/Y to ¥66 billion.
  • The gross profit expanded 12.5% Y/Y to ¥841.9 billion.
  • SoftBank's net income declined 95.1% Y/Y to ¥59.2 billion. EPS was ¥11.43.
  • Softbank generated ¥2.4 trillion in operating cash flow during the nine months ended December 31, 2021, and held ¥4.6 trillion in cash and equivalents.
  • SoftBank informed that it is exploring initial offering plans for Arm Ltd after NVIDIA Corp (NASDAQ:NVDA) planned to ditch the idea of its takeover amid regulatory challenges.
  • Price Action: SFTBY shares closed higher by 3.24% at $23.23 on Monday.
