The Spring cost of living package is almost upon us and for those on social welfare they are set to see a nice boost.
With many people across the country finding themselves cash strapped due to the ongoing cost of living crisis, the €200 boost is very welcome. If you received a Christmas boost or a Working Family payment in recent months you're likely eligible.
For those wondering when they can expect to see the payments they won't have to wait too long. They're set to be paid out the week of April 24, depending on what day of the week your payment is due.

The Department told RSVP Live: "The April cost of living payment is due to issue in the week commencing April 24. This will be issued along with a customer’s main qualifying payment in this week."
"[This will be given to] people in receipt of long-term social welfare payments. This will be paid to the primary recipients of the payments that receive the Christmas Bonus.
"In addition, it will be paid to people who receive the Working Family Payment and who have not received the lump sum on their primary payment. The Department is working for this payment to be made in late April."
They continued: “For people receiving Child Benefit, an additional lump sum payment of €100 for each child will be paid in June with the regular Child Benefit payment.
"An additional €100 payment will also be paid this year in respect of each child for whom the Back to School Clothing and Footwear Allowance is paid. For a child aged from four to 11 years, the payment will be €260 and for children aged 12 to 22 years it will be €385.”
