Well, it wasn’t the smooth ride like the first two games were, but maybe a little more meaningful. After embarrassing Tennessee and Oregon, Ohio State found itself in a dogfight with Texas in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl. A game the Buckeyes would ultimately win with late heroics.
It will undoubtedly go down as one of the greatest games ever played in Ohio State football history. One OSU fans will remember for years to come and share with their kids and grandkids — especially if Ohio State goes on to hoist a College Football Playoff national championship trophy.
As you can imagine, emotions were flying high and people had some things to say on social media. Let’s take a look at some of the best reactions.
It didn’t end well
Quinn Ewers and Texas apparently didn’t see what happened to Globo Gym at the end of Dodgeball

Mario Kart
I think TreVeyon Henderson hit one of the Mario Kart dash panels around the 50-yard line. His acceleration was insane. pic.twitter.com/mGHupcVFNu

Living all our dreams
We all pretended to live our sports dreams, fantasizing about what it would feel like to become a legend for the team we watched on tv. Jack Sawyer punched his ticket to Buckeye immortality. What a feeling that must be.
