It’s been a long three weeks for Ohio State fans, especially on social media. Both Tennessee and Michigan fans have been relentless in their trolling of Buckeye Nation on X (formerly Twitter). But Ryan Day and his team didn’t hear any of the chatter, or maybe they heard all of it. Either way, the men in Scarlet and Gray came out swinging.
And as you might expect, social media had things to say about the 42-17 blowout win over the Vols. Tennessee fans made noise by buying up tickets, talked of planting flags and throwing goalposts in the Olentangy River.

What I’m gathering from Ohio State’s drubbing of Tennessee is that 9-3 Illinois and 8-4 Iowa were actually more deserving of a CFP spot than anyone in the field.
