Manchester United's supporters expressed their delight for Christian Eriksen after he scored his first goal for the club against Fulham on Sunday afternoon.
With just under a quarter of an hour on the clock, the Dane found himself in the right place at the right time to connect with Bruno Fernandes' low cross and prod the ball into the back of the net, marking his 250th Premier League appearance with his first goal in United colours. It was a wonderful move from the Reds, which was sparked by Casemiro winning possession back in midfield.
The Brazilian's tackle inspired the move, allowing Anthony Martial to get on the ball, drive at the Fulham defence, slip Fernandes in and then the latter put it on a plate for Eriksen to score. United had looked a threat every time they had come forward in the opening exchanges, as had Fulham, in fairness, at the other end.
