A complaint of sexual misconduct against an SNP MP has not been upheld, the Daily Record has learned.
The ruling in the case of Patricia Gibson is believed to have set aside a decision following an investigation by an ethics Commissioner.
It is understood the decision by an Independent Expert Panel will be confirmed on Thursday.
Gibson, MP for North Ayrshire and Arran, was accused of sexual harassment by an SNP staffer in a Commons bar.
She vehemently denied the claims.
