The Met Office has issued another yellow weather warning for Greater Manchester amid a cold Arctic blast.
The warning for snow and ice - which covers our region and much of northern England, Wales and Scotland - will be in place from 3am on Sunday (December 18), to 9pm that evening. Forecasters predict that snow showers will lead to some disruption to travel.
People are being warned of delays on roads, trains and on planes due to the weather. Some areas might also be hit by power cuts in the snow.

Forecasters predict that 'some rural communities could become cut off' while the warning is in place. The snow is set to turn to rain later on in the day.
In Greater Manchester, temperatures are set to turn much milder from Saturday and into next week following a freezing cold period. On Saturday, the mercury will rise to 4C.
On Sunday, temperatures of around 7C are forecast in the afternoon and on Monday, the mercury will climb to 13C. Across the UK, milder and wetter weather will sweep in from this weekend.
Met Office chief forecaster Paul Gundersen said: "Over the last week, the UK has been held in a northerly airflow bringing cold, sometimes Arctic air, to the UK. We will still have this northerly influence to our weather patterns until the weekend, but then the cold conditions will lose exclusive dominance over the UK’s weather patterns and we will move into a regime where relatively mild and relatively cold conditions will vie for supremacy.
“We can expect changeable conditions with colder and milder air not too far away from our shores, but it does seem that the Atlantic ‘has woken up’ compared with recent days and will be a stronger influence, countering any further bouts of extreme cold conditions, although spells of further wintry weather remain possible through the rest of December.”
