Pictures show a sneak peak of the incredible animated light show being projected on the side of a 16-storey building.
Knowsley Council marked officially becoming the Liverpool City Region Borough of Culture with the launch of a brand new light trail.
The first three installations in Kirkby Town Centre, Halewood and St Chad's Church have already drawn in hundreds of people.

On Thursday, February 3, Knowsley Council were spotted testing its upcoming light show, Tall Tales, in Stockbridge Village.
The animated show is being illuminated on the side of Merecliff, a residential 16 storey tower in Stockbridge Village, and will take place for two consecutive nights.
The display will be projected on Friday, February 4 and Saturday, February 6 from 6pm onward.
Tall Tales will last for approximately 15 minutes and will be shown twice per hour from 6pm until 7.30pm.
A road closure will be in place around the flats and the council are encouraging visitors to walk to the area.
Visitors will be able to buy snacks and soft drinks when visiting the show and the event is free.
The official opening event of the Borough of Culture was ‘Aqualux’, an eight metre by three metre wide light installation.
Hundreds of people flocked to Kirkby town centre and watched the structure's switch on.
Spark Illuminated Drummers were also performing at Knowsley's 'New Dawn' light switch on.
