The Minnesota Vikings found a way to survive on Sunday afternoon, shutting out the Las Vegas Raiders 3-0 in an ugly football game.
While it doesn’t matter how ugly a win is, it can help project forward what a team’s performance can be.

Offensive snap count analysis
What is always interesting is how the snap counts look because of the injuries. Who gets the majority of snaps?
After the injury to Jefferson, Powell got the majority of snaps. He outsnapped Nailor 36 to 17 and he earned his place on the field. In turn, Osborn only got 51 snaps out of 72 fits because of his poor performance. Multiple drops ended up costing him from playing more.
Chandler exclusively got the running back snaps once Mattison went down with injury. Nwangwu got three snaps but the 40 for Chandler is a career high.

Defensive snap count analysis
Six players played the entire game on Sunday, the first time that has happened this season.
The Vikings only played three cornerbacks on 19 snaps, all of those being Blackmon. Andrew Booth Jr. didn’t play a single defensive snap. Neither did Khyiris Tonga, who Fox listed as a starter at defensive end.
NaJee Thompson got in on defense for the first time. It was on the final play where the Raiders tried a hook and ladder.
