Smoke filled a road after a car smashed into multiple parked vehicles.
Merseyside Police rushed to Fairmead Road, off Danger Lane in Moreton, at around 9.30pm on Thursday, November 24 following reports of a crash. Once officers arrived at the scene they found three severely damaged vehicles and a lamp post lying on the ground.
Eyewitnesses in the area told The ECHO they saw a car swerve into a number of parked vehicles, and the lamp post causing the damage. They also reported hearing a police helicopter circling above just minutes after the crash and seeing the road "full of smoke".

A man said: "They just came down the road, smashed into a parked car here, completely annihilated another car up there, and then crashed into a lamp post. One of the cars is about three feet shorter than it should be."
Police told The ECHO it is not believed anybody is seriously injured following the incident and they had no information on if any arrests had been made. Police put a cordon in place covering the majority of Fairmead Road and began making house-to-house enquiries.
A number of recovery vehicles and a Scottish Power Networks van were seen parked up in a line outside the cordon. The road will remain closed until police have completed their enquiries, the vehicles are recovered and the area is made safe.
