Fire crews are tackling a huge blaze in north Manchester this evening. The fire is thought to have broken out at Pioneer Mills, in Radcliffe, on Tuesday evening (May 31), with huge clouds of black smoke seen billowing from the scene.
Onlookers reported seeing huge numbers of fire units, as crews rushed to tackle the flames. Pictures shared to social media showed the clouds of thick smoke could be seen from a distance as they swelled over the city.
The Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service have been approached for more information, as have Greater Manchester Police.
