A disturbing case of bestiality has rocked Hattiesburg, Mississippi, as 21-year-old Denise Frazier was arrested and subsequently convicted for engaging in intercourse with a dog. Arrested in 2024 on charges of attempted unnatural intercourse and unnatural intercourse, Frazier’s actions were captured in multiple outrageous videos that have since circulated online.
Frazier, whose actions were documented in several graphic clips, was sentenced on January 24 to four years in jail. In addition to her prison term, a judge ordered her to serve five years of probation and pay $2,615.51 in fines. According to reports from WJTV, the disturbing videos showed Frazier engaging in s*xual acts with three separate dogs. Following the incident, the animals were rescued and provided with veterinary care, according to the Daily Mail.
“This sentencing is a step toward justice, but the fight isn’t over – we are still pushing for full accountability in Jones County, where Frazier’s abuse first came to light,” said Doll Stanley, In Defense of Animals’ Justice for Animals Senior Campaigner. Stanley’s remarks underscore the ongoing commitment by animal rights advocates to ensure that cases of animal abuse receive the full measure of legal scrutiny.
This is not the first time Frazier has been in trouble over such offenses. She was previously arrested in another Mississippi county in 2023 for a similar charge when she was 19. That earlier incident was also captured on video, this time spreading through Snapchat and depicting her with a male canine. A concerned resident flagged the video from February, prompting local authorities to take action and arrest her on aggravated cruelty charges.
“In my 17 years in law enforcement, this is one of the most disturbing cases that I’ve ever investigated,” said Sergeant JD Carter of the Jones County Sheriff’s Department. He added, “JCSD is in possession of several videos that are so graphic that we are not at liberty to release them or even discuss the particular content. The investigation into this case is far from over.” Carter also noted that Frazier’s alibi—that she was forced into committing these heinous acts—lacked supporting evidence. “There are really no true words to describe it other than disgusting,” he lamented, emphasizing that authorities remain alert to the possibility of additional videos filmed in other counties.
During her arrest, Frazier referred to one of the dogs as her “service dog,” a claim that only deepens the gravity of the case. The animals involved were seized from her residence and taken to a local animal hospital for care, ensuring their safety after the traumatic ordeal.
